Laser Party Follow up

Artifacture hosted it’s first laser party last week, and it was a rousing success with about 15 people in attendance.  The small group allowed us to spend a good bit of time with each of the attendees, and work through a number of different projects over the course of the night.  Michelle Carpenter’s charming Octopus chandelier was definitely a highlight of the evening.

In addition to the scheduled projects, we were able to tackle some work submitted at the last minute and cut it during the event as well.

We were also able to entice a number of guests to try their hands at assembling a paper dodecahedron or Eiffel tower. Unsurprisingly, the artists and designers in attendance had little trouble with this challenge.

We’d like to sincerely thank everyone who turned out.  A good time was had by all, and we will be announcing another material focused workshop/event in the near future.  We will also be holding a general open house in early June – details to follow.
