A promotional piece we did to promote Artifacture Studios to people and businesses in our building.

A beautiful messenger bag with custom engraved logo. This was sealed immediately after engraving to preserve the dark markings. The leather could alternately have been washed before sealing to get a lighter, more ‘natural’ appearance.

This was a speculative design done as a holiday decoration for a boutique loft/hotel chain.  Designed in partnership with Anne Howley, the project was to create a branded holiday decoration that was in keeping with their modern, minimalist design. 

This was an experiment done for a friend who does some wedding planning.  It’s a monogram etch on an inexpensive plastic charger with a silver coating over dark plastic.  It etched well, but was a bit slow.  If we did it again, we could probably speed it up significantly by running it at 400 dpi.

Sara at In a Flash Laser was kind enough to be the first to laser etch the new iPhone 4. So emboldened by the fact that we knew they wouldn’t explode, we decided to put our personal phones on the line, and try it ourselves.  Thankfully, it all went pretty well.

These are our current business cards.  What can I say, we’re pretty proud of them – on a lot of levels.  It’s proven to be very, very popular, but it is would be rather expensive to produce for a client because it requires two engraving passes ( front and back ), and a cutting pass.  […]
