This invitation was great fun, and is the final element in an impossibly romantic story, and we feel truly privileged to have been part of the beginning of Chris and Elida’s lives together.

They wanted to bring some of the elements of the proposal puzzle forward into the invitation, and also wanted to use a “Golden Ticket” theme for included invitations to the rehearsal dinner. They were looking for a unique twist on a traditional papel-picado style invitation, so we settled on a sleeve style invitation with layered inserts, with a hand drawn graphical element from the puzzle laser cut into the front, and each insert with a different repeating pattern cut into the top.

For the paper stock, they stayed with the bright colors common to the style, but chose a silk and metallic finish that suited their personal style well.
