Cincinnati Reds Themed Wedding Invitation and Table Toppers

We were approached by a couple who had rented out Reds Stadium in Cincinnati for their wedding and reception and were looking for an appropriately themed invitation.  Obviously, baseball played a significant role in their lives and their relationship, so we set about looking for an appropriate design. 

For the basic design, we looked to an invitation we created for an earlier event.  The invitation is a cross folded piece with a solid red exterior and the couples’ names in an external badge covered by a belly band. The belly band is a laser cut version of the iconic smokestacks at the back of the park. The invitation opens vertically to a teaser message and photo.  Past that, is a gate fold with baseball shaped pull tabs which open to expose the invitation itself. A separate response card is also included.

The clients were extremely pleased with the invitation and also asked us to create custom acrylic table numbers, as well as replica tickets to be distributed to guests with their table assignments.  The standard table toppers were replicas of Reds jerseys cut from red cell cast acrylic and etched with the couples’ last name and table number. For the head table, we created larger versions with the names of the wedding party, and numbers the wedding party members picked themselves.
